Dr Shantanu Mohapatra, a song writer and composer for more than 50 years, is being felicitated at 'Rabindra Mandap', Bhubaneswsr by noted Odiya singers and movie actors. A versatile and gifted music director, Shri Mohapatra's compositions range from classical to folk, devotional to modern categories. Two of my all time favourites are 'Mayurigo tuma akashe mu...' (Rafi) & ' Ae jibana ta eka nataka ....'(Pranab Patnaik). The evening was full of such old and nostalgic renditions by noted singers.
