Commissionerate Police launched “Know Your Police”, interactive progamme with students of SAI International School and Unit 1 High School today at Nandankanan PS and Capital PS respectively.

The programme started with a presentation on police organisation and administration. Then the students were taken round the police station to see the activities undertaken at a PS. Their queries ranging from crime, criminals, sense of security, juvenile in conflict with law etc. were met. Each student was given a return gift containing a freezer magnet sticker and a pen with logo of Commissionerate Police.

In the year 2005-06 I conducted series of similar programmes at Rourkela, which were highly appreciated.
