I attended the the Conference on Capacity Building of State Disaster Response Force at Delhi on 21st April and spoke on the activities of Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF), rated one of the finest in the country. Created in 2001 in the aftermath of supercyclone 1999 that ravaged coastal Odisha, ODRAF is a trusted name in the state at the time disaster for the service they render in rescue and relief operations.
