Spoke at the National Police Academy, Hyderabad in a Seminar on "Community Policing as Core Policing Strategy" on 16 May.
My argument was based on the premises that policing & community policing are synonymous in their philosophy. Because both aim at maintaining order in the society, which becomes easier with willing cooperation of the members of the public.

I do agree sir , because in in a democracy public participation is the key specifically in welfare oriented state system. No policing is possible without inculcation of trust and friendly attitude on the part of common citizens as well as the police system because relationships are reciprocal and community policing just tries to strike that chord of mutual trust . # Chaudhuri Amit Kabi
